色控传媒 Inaugural White Coat Ceremony for Anesthesia Program Students
The 色控传媒 recently conducted its first-ever White Coat Ceremony for students enrolled in the Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program.
色控传媒's Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program, Class of 2026, participated in the ceremony, joined by more than 150 families and friends who gathered to commemorate this milestone. Derrick Glymph, Ph.D., DNAP, CRNA, CHSE, COL., USAR, FAANA, FAAN, the clinical education coordinator and associate professor, highlighted the significance of the occasion, emphasizing the surprise unveiling of the 25 students' initial clinical assignments.
Keynote speaker Adam Flowe, MSN, CRNA, Chief CRNA of 色控传媒 University Medical Center, delivered an inspiring address to the students as they prepare to commence their clinical rotations in May. The ceremonial donning of their White Coats symbolizes the commencement of their professional journey in healthcare.
Glymph expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including administration, faculty, students, staff, and clinical partners, in orchestrating this memorable event. He credited the success of the program to the dedicated team of Drs. Simmons, Pitman, Funk, Tsumura and Program Coordinator Ms. Kimberly Porter. Additionally, he extended special acknowledgment to Dr. Tsumura and Ms. Porter for documenting the milestone through photography.
